Mother's Day is right around the corner, and for those who haven't started shopping yet, we wanted to pull together a guide guide to get the creative juices flowing. Although moms deserve the royal treatment every day of the year, Mother's Day is a chance to shower the special woman in your life with extra love and pampering. Who needs superheroes when we have moms?! In our family, we started the tradition of taking a girls trip over Mother's Day weekend. We make the short trek to Asheville, NC (post to follow on recs and suggestions!), where we eat, drink and shop until we drop. We've swapped extravagant presents for priceless memories that we'll cherish forever ... but we still love to treat mom to some surprises! Because we spend tons of time together in the kitchen, another favorite gift are cookbooks, where we write a personalized message on the inside cover.
