Hope everyone had a great weekend. We were feeling the gorgeous weather -- working in the yard, playing some golf and enjoying al fresco lunches. Isn't this time of year the best?!
The bright sun inspired me to bring out this favorite Ulla Johnson top. I've worn it three times in the last three weeks, and I'm just as obsessed as when I bought it in December. A little pick-me-up when I was recovering from hip surgery. I blame the pain meds for any purchases made during that time. Cue Chris Martin: "Oh, what a thing to have done. And it was all yellow." Anyway, while I gravitate toward darker clothes (ahem black, black and more black) during the cooler months, I am all about color when the temperature heats up! This blouse was an investment piece, but it was money well spent. The outfit possibilities are endless, and I know this top will wear well season to season. Why? Because I wore it for my birthday earlier this month. The night was F-R-E-E-Z-I-N-G, so I paired it with dark jeans, a leather jacket, black mules and a leopard-print clutch. And now I'm swapping out for my favorite high-rise white jeans, feminine espadrilles and wooden earrings.
