Lady in red

Last weekend, we had a sista date at one of Raleigh's newest spots, Barcelona Wine Bar. For locals, this is a must-try if you haven't. The decor is chic, the vibe is energetic, the atmosphere is more NYC than NC. The selection of wine and cocktails is outstanding, and the tapas menu is so good -- their friendly staff will help you select the perfect pairings, while also chatting you up about GoT. With spring in full swing, I've been living in these high-rise jeans from Frame. These are a favorite purchase from last year -- the ankle length is great for sandals, the stretch is comfortable but still maintains its shape, and the rise is flattering for shorter tops like this splurge from Rhode Resort.

After eyeing this piece for weeks, I decided to make it mine! I debated between the fun tie-dye and red botanical, but ultimately, I felt this print offers more versatility through summer and into fall. #extramileage

I finished off the outfit with these lightweight BuDha Girl bangles (waterproof and soundless) and neutral woven sandals. Warm weather favorites added extra punch: Drop earrings for a pop of color and a straw circle bag for more texture. We love mixing new and existing items to create a fun, new look -- especially if you're taking the plunge with an investment piece.

xo,

Natalie & Ashley
