We're celebrating Friday AND the official first day of summer the best way-with a fun, delicious cocktail. We wanted to share this skinny paloma recipe. It's easy to make, refreshing and has just the right amount of heat. You can use store bought grapefruit and lime juice to save time, but we recommend using fresh squeezed grapefruits and limes. If you like extra heat you can also rim your glasses with a chili salt. This is the perfect summer drink in our opinion and we love how it doesn't have any extra added sugar. SPARKLING JALAPEÑO PALOMA COCKTAIL
Ingredients:
2 jalapeño slices (can use more if desired)
1 lime wedge
0.5 ounce fresh lime juice
2 oz tequila (blanco)
4 oz grapefruit sparkling water (we used La Croix)
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
limes and grapefruit slices for garnish
kosher salt
Directions:
Rim the glass with lime juice and salt
Add the jalapeño slices to a glass
Squeeze the lime wedge into the glass
Muddle the jalapeño slices in the lime juice
Add ice to the glass
Shake and pour in the tequila and grapefruit juice into the glass
